The Rise of Magicks

Updated: Mar 3, 2020

In a way, Nora Roberts has added so much more to this exceptional series with Book 3 of THE RISE OF MAGICKS . This is supposed to be the end of the series and yes it does tie up all the loose ends, but I’ve grown of fond of the characters - they feel like family and I hate to see this end!

The moment the Doom initiated was also the moment that Fallon Swift was conceived.

Since the Doom wiped out civilization magic has been both the boon and the enemy of those who survived it. At the moment the Doom initiated was also the moment that Fallon Swift was conceived. She would be the GOOD that would eventually battle the EVIL. As Fallon grew she was aware that she had a mission; one she had not wanted, but one that she would, none the less, complete. In previous books we had seen Fallon grow, train and learn. Now she is ready and as “the One” she would have to use all the knowledge and training she’d been taught and developed to save humankind and let magicals, fea’s, and humans live in peace.

Fallon and her two besties Duncan and Athena made up the THREE. They would need to combine their powers in order to defeat the Black Magic that threatened to keep people in bondage. Fallon and her army have succeeded in rescuing countless shifters and elves and ordinary humans. Now she must help them heal—and rediscover the light and faith within themselves.

For although from the time of her birth, she has been The One, she is still only one. And as she faces down an old nemesis, Fallon sets her sights on the enemy’s stronghold, and pursues her destiny—to finally restore the mystical shield that once protected them all. — She will need not only an army behind her…but all the power the THREE can draw from each other.

Fantastic fantasy series - Positively HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
